My 7 year old Scottie was diagnosed with a serious bladder problem, and because she has a long history of inflammatory bowels, she is not a good candidate for certain kinds of therapy. The veterinarian put her on Duralactin for its general anti-inflammatory effects to support her body and immune system. However, I noticed that after 6 years of almost weekly problems with diarrhea and vomiting due to her inflammatory bowels, these symptoms became rare. It used to be a weekly occurrence requiring daily medications for managing her intestinal issues, but after being on Duralactin for a year, she only had a couple of problems during that year. Duralactin has made a huge difference in her condition. I reported the significant improvement to my veterinarian, who has now used Duralactin on another dog and a cat with similar problems. She reports that those animals also had improvements after the Duralactin was started.
